Mary Jo Fox is an artist who works in pen and ink and
watercolor. In the past she has done pen and ink drawing but in
recent years has combined that process with watercolor washes. She
is a self-taught artist but has taken some courses in watercolor
painting, and two dimensional design as well as sculpture in Houston,
Texas. Many of her paintings are done of flowers that she
raises in her garden. She works out of a studio at her home in Willard,
Wisconsin where she runs a construction company with her husband.
In addition to this she owns and operates the vineyard that supplies
Munson Bridge Winery with the grapes for their Fox Frontenac. She
is currently working on images for a fund raising calendar for Wolf
Ridge, an environment learning center based in northern Minnesota. |
